Tournament Forms

Your team will need to fill out the online Tournament Data Form, Expense Report, and Prep Checklist, which includes the Declaration of Independence. These forms can be found in the Resource Area of www.DestinationImagination.org.

Tournament Site Restrictions

• In the use of weapons, we will use the Rules of the Road directive concerning weapons which is found under J. Safety Guidelines and Restrictions, 15 on page 29 in the Rules of the Road.

• The following will NOT be allowed at the tournament in your challenge solutions: 

  • Weapons (real, fake, imaginary)

  • Helium in any form.

  • Dry Ice 

  • Turning the lights off in a performance​

• The use of latex in challenge solutions is no longer banned, unless explicitly stated in a specific challenge.

General Tournament Schedule

​

Saturday:

• Performances – roughly 8:00 am to 4:00 pm depending on the challenge.

• Rising Stars and Elementary Team Awards - In-person @ 5:30 p.m. - PHHS Gym.

• Middle and Secondary Team Awards - In-person at 7:00 p.m. - PHHS Gym

• Mandatory Going to State Meeting – February 10, 2025 @ 5:30 p.m. (Virtual) Link in your email or from your district coordinator.

Advancement to Affiliate (State) Tournament (more info here: https://www.texasdi.org/state-tournament)

• No advancement for Early Learning.

• 1st place in every level for Technical, Scientific, Fine Arts, Improv, Engineering, and Service Learning. (70% Raw Score)​
